by Geoff Molyneux
Middle aged and unemployed, Wallace Watkins is by no means a happy individual, living in a dried-up marriage with an over-bearing and dominating wife, Rosemary and her belittling mother. What keeps Wallace going is a penchant for BDSM sites on the internet and fantasising about Antonia, his first true love. So what happens when Wallace gets an email from Antonia, after 30 years. With his imagination running wild and his marriage falling to pieces, what is Wallace to do? Antonia is his fantasy girl.
"For thirty years she'd been a part of him. Been there like some nocturnal shade, a dominating phantom: there but not there; a dominatrix lurking in his mind and levering her way into the flotsam and jetsam of his waking hours and restless dreams; to use him and abuse him as she had done all those years ago."
