by Tony DeLorger
'On the Brink' is an eclectic collection of poetry, prose and short stories written over the past 20 years. The author, who has also written several fictional novels, plays, and nonfiction has always enjoyed the freedom of poetry and the opportunity of honing his craft by exploring language and artistic expression via this medium. From meter verse to esoteric prose and humour, "On the Brink" offers the reader a real insight into the author's beliefs and feelings about the world. From the very personal to the whimsical and very often thought provoking, the work takes you on a journey of human experience and observations.
Tony DeLorger was born in Sydney in 1953 and now resides in Adelaide with his wife of twenty years and their two children. Tony also has three older children from a previous marriage and is soon to become a grandfather early next year. His love of writing still dominates his life and he is presently working on two novels, as well as operating his publishing business.
