Whistle a Happy Tune is a story written about a holiday I experienced. It started its life as a diary, then typed as one long sentence before it incubated for a year in a drawer.
When it emerged, punctuation was added, followed by paragraphs, then chapters.
The delicate surgical work was performed mostly by Liane, with care and feeling.
Graham presented the first edition and Robert added artwork to give it character.
