Flinders Street, Edwardstown in South Australia, where Castle Plaza partly stands today, has a unique and unforgettable history. First settled in 1952 by a Latvian family, it grew to become a community where lives accidentally intersected and friendships lasted a lifetime. Sixty years later their descendants are still bound by invisible bonds created by their grandparents’ heritage, war, displacement and new beginnings in Australia. This book presents an interwoven rich street and social history following each individual/family to the present day. These are their stories.
