by Brian Williams
This book provides the background to the physical, chemical and biological processes in aquatic ecosystems and their numerical modelling. It describes a broad range of hydrobiological models which have been used by scientists and engineers in many different contexts. In particular, the book seeks to break down discipline barriers and encourage modellers to look beyond their own literature.
Brian Williams has been involved with hydrobiological models for over 30 years. He is a conjoint academic at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
